Gates to Leave MS - Startling Admission

Gates to end daily Microsoft role (BBC News)

Here is the apparent proof of MS imcompetence...

"This is a hard decision," said Mr Gates, adding that he was not retiring but "reordering [his] priorities."

"The firm said it would take two years to make sure the transition takes place smoothly."

This staertling admission gives a clear understanding MS operating systems will always be seriously flawed.

It takes two years to plan a relatively simple transition with the massive resources of MS, then there is no way a quality OS can be produced and
then maintained in it's relatively short life time.

Thanks for the insight Bill.

Why not do something really charitable, compensate all those users who have been put to great expense over many years by MS failings, give them an alternative OS, sponsor the development of Linux with a couple of Billion but for gods sake keep your hands off it!
