No problem!!
Can pls nonZealot explain how "safe" they could have been with their FW on

In the case of the RRAS exploit, a firewall would make no difference to anyone running XP or 2003 because RRAS is off by default. If you were running 2000 SP4 and you hadn't turned of RRAS, the firewall would have kept you safe from any exploit that used the RRAS vulnerability. The firewall wouldn't have protected you against the WMP flaw or the .art flaw. Does that answer your question?

Oh, I see, you were trying to get me to contradict myself by getting me to say that a firewall doesn't protect you against everything? Sorry michael but I never anything close to "firewalls protect you against all Windows malware" so there is no contradiction.

Please do try again though! It is always fun to slam you back into place when your little head pops up. Whack-a-Mike!! happy
