Except nothing here folks. Both of you have good and valid points. BUT Milly down there has an excellent point. They are not denied the security updates just the 'fancy' features. The ones that knowingly used a pirated copy of windows deserve everything that they get. Those people who didn't know they were getting pirated/illegal copies should not be penalized for that. I mean these are the people that should be worked with toward gaining some sort of compromise. And it does sound as if MS already has a plan in place for that or is working toward one.

But I will agree on the point that this is pretty much a moot point for anyone who did the update when they should have.
