This has run rampant through YahooGroups
Thank Goodness I have an awesome AV program that checks for updates every day and was up to date when this started to come through the YahooGroups. I also have many of my YahooGroups going to Gmail accounts instead of a Yahoo address. I didn't open any with the subject line (thankfully) - the first I had heard about it was from a list member for a group I co-moderate for... he said that his father had opened it and it made a mess of his computer. So I immediately contacted the customer service at www.snopes.com to see what the news was on the virus and got a response within 24 hours. I then passed on the information I obtained from Snopes to the lists I own, moderate or am just a member on, and did a full system scan (again - I was clean!) as well as a Spy-Bot scan and an Ad-aware scan (again, both clean). I know some have not been so lucky. Don't let them tell you it affected only a few customers though. I had that darn thing hit the "pending" file for one group at least 5 times in less than a 24 hour span. It's made a mess of the mailing system and the lag in getting the 'real' mail to groups due to this thing running through the system has made an already slow mailing system even slower.

I hope they get the whole thing straightened out AND cleaned up soon.
