Fire the Clueless VA Secretary
VA Secretary R. James Nicholson strikes me as being a no-account fool. You don't need more laws when you don't even enforce the current set of rules. And you don't need more laws if you listen to I.M. professionals who give you the recommendations and plans for a workable, secure information management system, and follow those recommendations.
And I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that at least SOMEONE in the VA's I.S. department/division gave recommendations and plans for such a workable system.
