- AOL = Junkware
- remoulton, I know what you mean. AOL hogs up and takes over PCs like a cancer. With all the junk in the software and now with all the security stuff, it 'possesses' your PC. I had to reformat my old computer before because AOL totally messed up my system when I tried to uninstall the software. AOL is junkware. They used to be more into quality for their customers, but now it's all about the all mighty dollar and they no longer care what the customers want. I used to beta test for AOL and it's unbelievable how they actually wanted people to test software to see if the 'ads' show up good. I dropped from both AOL and beta testing since then.
