How right you are. I work for an ISP delivering broadband over
wireless technologies and the satellite users are abanoning thier
dishes in droves. With it's inconsistant speeds, inevetable delay,
monthly bandwidth caps, and high fees, it's no wonder.

I love satellite TV as cable will never reach where I live, but
telephone service over satellite? Get real. It's would have to be
REALLY cheap to compete with cell phones. It's currently cheaper
where I live to get a cell phone than a wired one.
