Strange So Many are doing it

It's real strange that if the FCC has not approved BPL yet that so many Power Companies are now offering it. In my area TXU is offering it to it's customers at a very reasonable cost making it very competative with DSL/Cable. In my case I can't get DSL/Cable and won't be able to in the near future. I tryed Wireless and it wasn't much better than my old dialup, so I don't know where you are getting that it is so great, it was spendy and very unreliable for everyone in my area. All of my nieghbors who signed on have gone to Sat(Wild Blue), and are at least able to surf at acceptable speeds now. Currently I am using Sat for my isp and it is doing very well, exceeding my expectations. If BPL works, and I will be watching subscribers in my area I will switch to it in a heartbeat, but in the meantime, I will stick with WildBlue.
