Why put him in jail?

1) Then WE have to pay for his living conditions.

2) The chances he will link up with someone even more nefarious is far worse. Jails are like a training ground for criminals.

Instead, I say go ahead! Make money, just tap his earnings. It's a far better thing if he is making money and 80% is going to programs that combat the very crime he committed.

Course, now you have to watch him closely for under-the-table money... He said he wants to be an activist. NEWSFLASH to him, activists don't make much money. 80-90% out of his pocket would be about the same.

That's my 2 cents.
