If Outlook is such a problem why doesn't someone sue Microsoft .....
A class action lawsuit against Microsoft for the time that people have spent in working around the virus/automation issues that have plagued Microsft. Everytime there is a new wild and highly distributable virus spreading around, 99.999% of the time the virus is geared towards Outlook and gulluble users who typically do not use AV software.

I never hear that a virus is geared towards the Microsoft platform and more specifically Outlook on the nightly news when they talk about the virus spreading. Since Microsoft gears it's products to solve everyone's problems, Microsoft products have to be very easy to use for the layman. This is a problem, because people who do not know what they are doing are very dangerous. Everytime that one of these viruses spread like wild fire it is usually because the lay person has no idea that clicking on an attachment might be dangerous, especially on the Microsoft consumer platforms in which the user usually has administrative rights for everything.

I really have to ask the question: If Microsoft is really working for its customers, why doesn't it have built in anti-virus software built-in? Please don't tell me that Microsoft doen't see value in AV software and decided to leave that up to the AV vendors because it is not a lucrative market. All of the big AV players make lots of money selling their proprietary solution. AV software should be required within Outlook because of all of the dangers it has compared to most other email clients that exists on the market.
