yes a while in the making
I understand trying to get the patch correct, but 7 months for a vulnerability to be fixed is ridiculous. That leaves anyone with Outlook 2k2 out in the open if the knowledge was ever made public, or for that matter made known to certain elements of the world. One of these days soon MS will realize (speaking hopefully) that these things need immediate attention, not their normal, if enough people remind us of this flaw, we'll go ahead and fix it, but not until then.

I guess my opinion, as well as others i've seen, is just a drop in the bucket to MS. One day they'll understand that shoddy craftsmanship will bite them big time.

Until that time, i'll keep collecting my clients money for the flaws and patches i get paid to take care of weekly.

cheers
J
