Which is, of course, an excuse to release slop,
and alpha slop at that. But then, it depends on
your accustomed standard for 'Beta'. PCLinuxOS
0.92 is a pre-release Beta, and is very stable.
Everything works 'out of the box', much more so
than WinXX. Debian testing and Debian unstable
could equate with Beta and Alpha respectively.
And yet, Debian unstable compares very favorably
with WinXP, Apple OSX and Solaris. Maybe you
guys should set your sights, and standards, a
little bit higher?
