The difference is that spammers are not paying for the Internet content nor my email accountwhereas ads DO pay for the programming on TV. You don't want to watch ad supported stations then you just don't need to watch them.

With 75% of my email content being Spam and Virus related (even with filters in place!) there's a LOT more of my time being wasted that cannot be avoided as simply as changing a TV channel.

Otherwise I agree with your comments.
