There are laws controlling what can and cannot be displayed in public view and neither of these would cause me any lose of time unless I choose to view them.

I have a sticker on my door stating that I do not want junkmail and it is respected. If Porn and fraudulent scams were dropped through my mail-slot you can be darn sure someone would be in jaik pretty fast.

Unfortunately there does not seem to be a reasonable method to close ones door to SPAM and not have it reduce the enjoyment of a service I pay for. It's the same as with my phone. You want to pay my phone bill? Then I might not mind being called from the dinner table by tele-marketers.

Otherwise let them use bill boards and flyers stuck on my car. Or better still, stick it in an envelope and mail it to me and let them pay the postage!
