Notice, still no exploit, but, for MS Office there is still an unpatched

vulnerability with exploit in the wild. You are still say 1000x less likely to have virus problems related to your use of an office suite if you use OpenOffice or StarOffice. Ok, anything bue MS Office.

And if you use your head, the odds of being infected with said Word exploit is about ZERO as well.

Just don't open every bloody attachment that comes in e-mail - especially if you don't know the sender. DUH. Not too hard... Now is it?
