Symantec Antivirus 2006
Well to start things off I purchased a copy ofNorton Antivirus 2006, installed it then my system crashed. I had to re-install my operatong system which is Windows 98 2nd edition. This not re formating my harddrive.Well ya think I could re install it ?...NO could not even re instal the 2005 version.Only one thing left to do and back up my whole drive and re format the whole hard drive. Cross your fingers.... It's like winning the loteries ya fat chance it will ever work right again and with Microsoft ending support for most Windows platforms other then XP Xtrem Pain which I refuse to upgrade to until they fix all the bugs ?, lol hell will freez over first before Microsoft gets off their duff and fixes all their goofs. Hey when a person buys a product should not the maker stand behind their product until it is no longer used by anyone?.I think Microsoft owes it to everyone who has a licenced copy of Windows to at least send them all the fixes on several DVD disks that way een when a system crashes at least they can pull out the DVD's and fix it without going thru the hassel of support lol.I found Symantec a big joke just like Microsoft fix software?...Ha ha ha no sooner do they fix one major problem they creat 30 others!.
And the answer to your question is " NO " I am not impresed with either companys.
