Name one thing better.
I get the feeling that Symantec Bashers are Symantec Bashers out of envy. Symantec's Corp Antivirus software is well built, has few flaws (Symantec ends up with security patches what once a year? Compare that to Microsoft, Corel, CA, even Linux has more security patches than that - I run SUSE 10.0), and is easy to use. One does need to at least review the manual to understand the advanced features.

On the flip side, I will only buy Anti-Virus Software (Corp or personal) from Symantec, their other utilities tend to bung things up.
