- Huh, why would you try to compete with them?
-
Are you going to go out tomorrow and start building cars to compete with GM? Of course not, only a fool would try to "compete" against those odds. The sheer size, marketing, financial clout, market relationships, breath of produact, breath of experience, in fact in anything you can name, they have you beat before you can start.
I do not understand this mentality of thinking two guys in a basement with a DSL line are going to take on Microsoft. This is not the 60s or early 70s dude, the market and the industry grew up. My sugggestion is people that think they can take on such a massive company (GM or MS) need to take some mellow me out drugs and go fishing for a few years.
As far as the third party A/V apps, they had several years to build secure products, they failed. And failed. And failed some more. It would be foolish to think MS was never going to do something themselves in an effort to correct the problem. Let me guess, come one let me try, you thought they wouldn't, right? Come on, admit it. - Posted by: No_Ax_to_Grind Posted on: 05/30/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
