It would appear someone has read one too many cyber punk stories. The idea of striking back may on the surface seem satisfying on a superficial adolescent emotional level, however it opens up a very nasty can of worms. One question I have is this, would a company using or providing tools to attack other computers (usually hijacked ones) survive the legal costs that would be incurred by the strategy of counterattack. This is definately the wrong approach to the problem.
