DeGette really is a Socialist..... so it is expected from her, but I am astonished at Gonsales and company that they should turn their backs on long held principles of privacy just to find an easy way to dig up dirt. There are certainly more acceptable ways of monitoring evil doers, rather than invasion of privacy of otherwise harmless citizens. This is not what you would call a measured response, this is lining all citizens up and doing a public strip search to expose a very small number of evil doers. The harm to the many is not justified by the efforts to unmask the evil. I can think of many suitable analogies .....
