LOL, I love your style. It's so lacking in substance!
Point fingers at everyone else and call them the socialists, forgetting what a "socialist" is; it's amazing how quickly society takes a word and spins it about to become what the heck it's not.

I know a Libertarian who said Walmart, Dell, and Microsoft are glorious capitalists. He also supports offshoring. Unfortunately, he's always depressed as to why he can't seem to find a job (duh) and gets mad when said companies take corporate welfare. Never mind the trade practices of the aforementioned companies is far closer to that of (your definition of) socialism (they take and redistribute the wealth for themselves and we end up tantamount to disposable objects. Of course, even slaves got room and board from their masters; with today's minimum wage and higher cost of living, slavery almost seems a godsend at times...)

"Socialism" defined - and none of these definitions adequately matches yours:
Socialism \So"cial*ism\, n. [Cf. F. socialisme.]
n 1: a political theory advocating state ownership of industry
2: an economic system based on state ownership of capital [syn:

OR
A theory or system of social reform which contemplates a complete reconstruction of society, with a more just and equitable distribution of property and labor. In popular usage, the term is often employed to indicate any lawless, revolutionary social scheme. See Communism, Fourierism, Saint-Simonianism, forms of socialism.

Last I checked, Billy Gates and Mickey Dell aren't whining about the government taking their goods as their own... Nor Linus Torvalds for that matter... ditto for Steve Jobs, Sam Walton, and the rest of the gang.
