I am so glad that you shared you opinion with us that "XP Sucks" the only reason cited being that you have to boot to safe mode.

Every time I read a thread lately it's the same poorly educated, MS bashing crowd.

I know of very few instances when one must boot into safe mode in Windows XP or Server 200x. Usually it is to perform an operation that requires clear single user disk access. I have to change the run level of Solaris/Linux/Unix et al far more often in daily usage.

How many Servers/Desktops/Network Nodes are you responsible for? I doubt many, or you would not be so myopic.
