The $ Loss is NOT REAL !!!!

Microsoft claims to " Loose " $XXXXXX.XX "
Dollars from Pirated Software.

******* WRONG !!!! ********

Best Guess is that over 80% of the Pirated
software in use, would not have been bought
in the first place.

People use Free or Priated software because it is available at no cost.

Most use it because they cannot afford the expensive version.

To assume that all the pirated software in use would have been bought is totally unreasionable.

I have no doubt that Microsoft is completely aware of this and is just making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Users cannot, or choose not, to spend money for a program which can be had for free and / or there is a viable free alternative.

A perfect example is Microsoft Office. It is an
excelent program which is no doubt often pirated.
But if most people who are using it for free had to buy it, they would use Open Office or another freeware alternative first.

Just my two cents worth.
