Windows Defender...
...is one of the best antispyware programs out there. It has a higher detection rate than all of the mainstream COMMERCIAL antispyware products.

That, and Symantec is ****. Maybe if their commercial consumer security software didn't get it's fat ass (literally, Norton eats through system resources like Michael Moore through cheese bread) handed to it by the FREE version of AVG AntiVirus, then perhaps I'd respect Symantec. Unfortunately, their products are also a ***** to install/uninstall completely, as well.

As far as I'm concerned, Microsoft, kick Symantec's ass and put some security stuff in Windows for free.
