There has always been traitors in the gov't. You make it sound like a whole department was involved as an unofficial policy. I believe they were off guard arguing over that is not my job type crap, not sharing intel that was for the most part legally obtained and got blindsighted. Now the spin doctors are in overdrive covering it up because if the real culprits were fired for incompetence, even higher ups will be implicated for lounging around.

Now all investigations are squashed and the spin doctors are out using contacts to make up stories so that any inquiry can be shot down easily because this screwup was big time. These are the same agents making up UFO stories so people will be looking for saucers instead of secret military aircraft at Area 51. Example is the SR-71 Blackbird developed in the vicinity by Kelly Johnson's Skunkworks of Lockheed.

Now anybody that inquires about what happened in any of these departments is branded a lunatic, and perpetual stories about the inane is the useful tool to stonewall. All I want to know is who the major screwup is.
