Make that 140,001 totally different and unique viruses!
The virus relies on social engineering to entice users to open the attachment

Oh, wait, this exploits the exact same security vulnerability (the end user) as 139,000 other "viruses" out there? Oh, wait, logging on as a restricted rights user won't protect you from this one? Oh, wait, a firewall won't protect you against this one? Ah, I can see why other OSs protect you so much better than Windows... I just can't explain it without waving my hands and using $$$$ and sux and blowz.

Yawn, wake me up when someone actually creates a "new" virus instead of rehashing attacks that I was protected against 15 years ago on DOS. Then I'll be more impressed with that big, bad, scary 140,000 number!
