UNIX is already MORE secure than any
of the low quality pc-ware that Redmond and their pals can ever dream of generating. Even the PLAIN UNIX flavors from ALL major vendors, WHEN they are configured NOT to use unencrypted networking services (telnet, ftp, etc. even though you can use the kerberized ones OR SSH).

Any OS can get a high classification if you switch off any networking.

The trusted versions of UNIX are almost completely functional and networked and compare this to the versions of Windows that acquired the high classification. What is available on these windows systems ? The logon screen? As soon as all the crappy windows RPC and local services are enabled -- and windows DOES NOTHING without its services -- ms windows becomes the swiss-cheese JOKE that everyone in the field knows that it is.
