Listening to McAfee FUD is bad logic too.
Mac OSX is inherently safer than Windows XP. That is a fact. Mac
OSX is not perfect. That's a fact. The degree or mathematical
equation concerning any ratios is not necessary. There are no
OSX users who currently have viruses. Malware virtually doesn't
exist for Mac OSX. The argument is that the only reason is
because no virus writers target Mac OSX because it only has 5%
of computer sales in the US is also false. Some virus writers do
target Mac OSX but Windows is just an easier target so that's
where most of the malware activity is aimed. A flaw or
vulnerability gets found for Mac OSX and it makes the news even
though most have to do with Apache or some part of the OS that
nobody uses or the hacker has a user account on the Mac or
something. Still FUD like that makes the news. It's not news until
hundreds of thousands of Windows users actually get attacked.
That's the way the FUD travels.
