future and present dangers
This is as often trotted out as the fallacy of malware being
written only because Windows is popular.
It is a simple fact today that there is almost no threat to a Mac
user, period. Even if you were to assume that the danger is
going to grow, and even if you assumed it would grow faster
than the malware for Windows (which is nonsense), this is a
massive and important advantage.
It's important to look to the future, but it isn't more important
than being aware of the real and immediate danger in the
present.
