vulnerable to what?
((( "Your very laxidasical attitude to security is why Mac is
vulnerable." )))

What makes my stance "lackadaisical?" Buying McAfee for the
Mac is like getting an inoculation for a disease that doesn't exist.
There are no Mac viruses, therefore their software is useless. For
that matter, even if someone did manage to produce the first
virus for OS X, how could we even be sure that the McAfee
product would do anything to thwart it?

((( "And American thought they were secure from foreign terror
attacks until 2001." )))

No, just the Bush Administration. The Clinton Administration,
particularly Janet Reno's Department of Justice, gave the
incoming Bush team the strongest of warnings that the bulk of
their efforts in foreign policy would (or should) be in tracking
terrorists and preventing attacks.

Condoleezza Rice ignored the warnings and the Bush cabinet
started planning for a war in Iraq, just as they had been since
the mid-90s at the Project for a New American Century. Then,
John Ashcroft immediately dropped terrorism to the bottom of
the Justice Department To-Do List, and bumped prostitution
stings and busting medical marijuana clinics to the top.
