It has to do

with this platform making it very very easy to become
hijacked and become a virus and work redistribution
center.

How many worms/viri have started and propagated by NON
MS platforms? Almost ZERO. I say almost because ~20 years
ago someone wrote a worm that used to propagate over
the debug option of mail servers on the connected to the
ARPANET.

The ease with which completely FOREIGN and potentially
malicious code can run on a windows box is ONE of the
many vulnerabilities of this platform. Let alone the very
serious holes within the kernel itself (eg., RPC/LPC
vulnerability).

I wouldn't care much about windows if it weren't for all the
network BW that is abused to propagate worms and other
nonsense.
