What do you do
with legitimate .zip, .gz, etc. files in emails? It seems to me that you PC must be spending time decompressing stuff and scaning them. With a slow connection you may not get contaminated files rapidly enough, but what were you going to if you could use a faster connection?

It seems to me that pc computing has ended up being VIRUS defense processing most of the time....
