doesn't anyone here work with software?
Is IE perfect. No. If Firefox No. Can either be hacked, yes.
The slower response by MS is for a very good and well known industry reason which FF has obviously not been around long enough to find itself in the role thereof. These kinds of comments do nothing but make the poster look completely uninformed.
MS is not crazy, and to leave security problems wide open with coverage even outside of IT sites and into the mainstream, on purpose, would put them in the crazy category. They know there is competition. They are not these idiotic pompous a$$es you may have fabricated. They put out fixes as they do for a very honorable reason. You think they like the bad press that has reached the point of mainstream media, after so much protesting from those whose favorite software is showing it's no more secure. Of course not. How can anyone, even one who despises MS, think they do this due to stupidity or inept coders? That is what is crazy. You get people using analogies like "turds" (it's easy to see in those cases however it's safe to ignore the poser).
Try researching why MS's patch cycle is the way it is and don't keep forgetting that FF and open source don't play in the same league as MS when it comes to desktop and productivity software. It's like the single A people trying to bash the players in the big show.
