timely Release...

Mozilla.org ships it out when it's ready, instead of making everyone wait for "patch Tuesday". That's good. Another important difference is their process of designating it as a different Release: Unlike the situation for victims of the recent MS-IE security update, it's very easy to see and back down if the "patch" totally breaks something.

But it almost certainly won't... again, unlike MS, mozilla.org has had the 'fixed' version available as a separate 'branch' on their ***public*** Download Site for several days, allowing people like me to rattle the branches and make sure they don't break.
