You know
I use Firefox. I apply the updates as needed. Same thing with EVERY browser that I use. The thing is every browser or program will have issues because nothing is perfect. I am in no way saying this because I am defending FF (as much as I would like to). I know I have said this (or asked it in question for before) but how many of these 'exploits' that turn into actual 'attacks' could be avoided by not making them public? Or even semi- public because you do need to know where to look for the information. I should think that rather than make this coding available to the public they should make whatever company that the exploits affect aware of the issue so that it can be patched. Before giving every jerk in the world the chance to get your information or control your system. Or try not making the info public at all. I have to wonder how many of these attacks would have been prevented if the companies that do this research would not make them so widely known?
