Losing the data *IS* a compromise silly! Do you think citizen Joe Blow's SSN that was stolen HAS to have a crook use it for illegal purposes to consider this a compromise? Wrong! If it was stolen, it was compromised!

Sheesh, when will these people learn! When will the govt finally step in and PUNISH these data holding companies appropriately. This NEEDS to be a felony, nothing less! This is neglect... and the employee AND the corporation needs to pay.

Nothing is being done to them... so they continue to neglectfully handle personal data...
