What I can't help but wonder
Is why they publish the attack code in first place? Because it is something that COULD happen? That would be understandable IF they let the company (in this case Oracle) know about the malicious code but NOT PUBLISH it to the PUBLIC. I am sure there would be LESS attacks that way.
