Unfair
drawing association with 'open source environment' and rootkits. They are probably some very good proprietary and commercial rootkits secreted away that are influencing the open sourced projects, and visa versa.

Oh well, the safest state for your computing device seems to be that super computer in one's mind, safe from the neighbors and the man.
