Hmmm,

Looks like all the OS?s you mentioned as being unaffected by
this worm may, cumulatively, comprise five or so percent of the
end-user desktop market. My opinion is that its a lot easier for
some maladjusted looser to make an impact targeting the
systems you described as being ?vulnerable?. An unscientific
Google search of Cert.org for the term Linux and Advisory
shows 576 hits, UNIX shows 444 and Apple shows 206. XP on
the other hand shows 137 and Windows shows 574. Does this
mean I think MS products are more secure than the other folks?
No, but I?m not going to be lulled into a false sense of security
because I?m writing this response on one of my Macs or because
I have a SUSE based server at the house. And it doesn?t mean
I?m going to trash my XP based systems either.
