Disabling the emergency brake?
Linux-mobile: Emergency brake enabled and engaged by default. Cannot be disengaged without issuing a complex series of commands that most people can't understand. Asking a mechanic about how to do it is to court insults about your intelligence.

Mac-mobile: Emergency brake enabled but not engaged by default. Using it is so simple and easy that you don't care that you paid twice as much for your car than average. Oh, and it wears out after a single use and you have to replace the whole car, not just the brake.

Windows-mobile: Emergency brake is enabled, you think, it's hard to tell since it's connected to the A/C, CD player, and who knows what else. You'll know it's engaged when a warning light comes on, maybe, if that fails you'll know by the smoke coming from the wheel wells. Most people chose to continue driving until the car burst into flames anyway.
