So Roz71, your solution as I understand it is...
Limit a family computer to only a couple of websites? So that way, teens and parents are all restricted to a couple of locations?

That?s pretty lame. Furthermore, you are making a bold and somewhat arrogant assumption that everybody who uses a computer knows how to do such configurations when in reality only a very small percentage of people do. The bulk of people who use the computer don't know how to do that.

I'm sure your next response, if to follow your personality would be to say something like "Well, if they don't know how to use a computer they should either learn how or not use it" which again is a little arrogant.

That would be like saying "If you don't know how to replace the head gaskets on your car then you have no right to drive" or "If you don't know how to repair a refrigeration unit you shouldn't even own a refrigerator"

It has nothing to do with laziness. I know many people in the medical field who are unbelievably skilled in their field but they can't do much more than click icons on a computer. Again, you are VERY arrogant and narrow minded to assume they are lazy just because they want to use their computer as a tool and don't feel like learning how to troubleshoot, diagnose, configure, and modify their computer. I would like to see you in front of an operating table with a loved one that desperately needs surgery and having a doctor look at you and say "It's not my fault you are too lazy to learn human anatomy"

Dude...seriously...pull your head out of your ---.
