Reverse (On-shore) OUTSOURCING?
Why aren't American workers provided with the same "level playing field" that these corporations want so we can compete with foreign labor?

There seems to be very little risk in entering a proven market where the current providers are too expensive and you can do it yourself for less. If these government entities were speculatively building networks in hopes of creating a demand then I would gripe. I would also gripe if excess municipal capacity were allowed to go to waste unused because the mayor didn't want to compete with his "largest contributors".

Look a waste collection as an example. Private and municipal systems exist successfully side by side and the most effecient usually takes over the other.

I see the complaints as mostly "sour grapes" from complacent incumbents not use to "real" competition.
