Just as a precaution
Next time you're faced with an EULA AFTER you've bought something or signed up for a service. (In this case it was the EULA in Xing decoder which they claimed prevented otherwise legal reverse engineering).

Simply write a short letter to the company saying that you're not accepting any restrictions in their EULA, even if you click "Accept", and don't bother reading the EULA.

Keep a copy of the letter.
