Mdsmedia, you are a liar!

Everything you said is a bunch of total BS. The biggest security risk is a lack of knowledge. A newbie on linux will screw it up. He is perfectly capable of wiping out his files or letting a virus do it or turning his user account into a bot. He is very capable of gaining root access since he will have the password. You also don't realize, Windows is more secure since the malware authors are using social engineering to get their unsuspecting clients.
