Trivial? This is a product that millions upon millions of people use every day. The problem is HUGE!

You do know that tabbed browsing has been around for a long time now, don't you? If you don't, then I don't mean to insult you, but IE is pretty much the last major browser to support tabs. Innovation was the wrong word there.
