Employee web browsing montors, etc
The things you mention are in a totally different class, particularily employer web browsing monitors. After all the employers have a right to control employee activities on company time and equipment and employees should assume that there are limits. Surveilance cameras in stores etc.are purposely obvious and almost unuseable for monitoring any particular individual. Yes they can be abused but unlike this software they are not designed specifically to be clandestine and abusive.
