Spyware is spyware.

"This application installs itself without any kind of indication as to what it is," Jarno Niemela wrote on the Finnish antivirus maker's corporate blog Wednesday. "And when it is installed on the phone, it completely hides itself from the user."

Sounds pretty malicious to me. It's still spyware, who's only purpose is to spy on innocent people, gather their personal info, and beam it back to people who's intent can only be called "evil and wrong."

Besides, who's actually installing and using it?
Hint: It's not the cell's legitimate user.
