but it's not so simple

Getting everybody to agree to anything is darn near impossible. Getting the to act >>IS<< impossible.

Maybe a better answer if to find a bank that agrees with you/us and take your business there. If the other banks see customer going away, they might get the idea.

How are they going to know why you left. "Hell Mr/Ms xxx, we would like to offer you if you would re-open you account with us." Right about here is where you let them know why you left and that you won't be returning until those issues are addressed.

We can't force them to do what we want (this is the "stick"). We CAN reward them when they do what we want (this is the "carrot").

It's dumb. It's low tech. But it just might work.
