Okay, what are you going to do about it?
This bill is a TEXTBOOK CASE of the many bills being crafted by lobbiest with little regard for the average persons' concerns.

That's true enough but what do you do about it? Orin Hatch is one of the most crooked politicians on the hill and people in Utah keep putting him back in office. Trent Lott, Bill Frist, Hillary, Ted Kennedy...all get elected over and over. Apparently some people think things are just hinky-dinky in Washington.

People have this funny view that Congress is messed up but their guy is okay. Until we ALL face up to the fact that "our guy" is part of the problem, then we're going to keep getting lobbyist crafted legislation.

And, yes, that may mean in some cases throwing out the good with the bad. But if you want to get government out of the hands of special interest, the first step is throwing the bums out.
