Windows is a great and useable O/S...
The only thing I hate, is you have to re-buy the whole O/S or download a service pack in order to get the latest fixes.

Why not SEND you another "non-packaged" updated O/S like Windows XP SP2 vs.. Windows XP with 200 megs of patches you have to apply after installing?

Personally.. If Microsoft did that, that would go a long way towards better security on their end. Kind of like a "technet/msdn" for the O/S you purchased...

Offer the ISO like Linux/Unix does (if you are re-installing).

Otherwise I will agree.. Firefox wins hands down vs IE in terms of reliability, and security vs spyware etc... IE is the never dying virus for Windows.
